# §3536. Specialized vocational training courses


The [Secretary](/usc/38/4101.md?p=8) may approve a specialized course of vocational training leading to a predetermined vocational objective for the enrollment of an [eligible person](/usc/38/3501.md?p=a-1) under this subchapter if the [Secretary](/usc/38/4101.md?p=8) finds that such course, either alone or when combined with other courses, constitutes a [program of education](/usc/38/3002.md?p=3) which is suitable for that person and is required because of a mental or physical handicap.
