# §3110. Leaves of absence


The [Secretary](/usc/38/4101.md?p=8) shall prescribe such regulations as the [Secretary](/usc/38/4101.md?p=8) determines necessary for granting leaves of absence to [veterans](/usc/38/3701.md?p=b-2) pursuing [rehabilitation programs](/usc/38/3101.md?p=7) under this chapter. During authorized leaves of absence, a [veteran](/usc/38/3701.md?p=b-2) shall be considered to be pursuing such program.
