# §1978. Reinstatement


Reinstatement of [insurance](/usc/38/1901.md?p=1) coverage granted under this subchapter but lapsed for nonpayment of premiums shall be under terms and conditions prescribed by the [Secretary](/usc/38/101.md?p=1).
