# §704. Allotments: officers of Public Health Service


[Commissioned officers](/usc/37/101.md?p=12) of the Public Health Service who are on [active duty](/usc/37/101.md?p=18) may, under regulations prescribed by the President, make allotments from their [pay](/usc/37/101.md?p=21).
