# §461. Relationship to other travel and transportation authorities


An [authorized traveler](/usc/37/451.md?p=a-2) may not be paid travel and [transportation allowances](/usc/37/451.md?p=b-4) or receive travel-in-kind and transportation-in-kind, or a combination thereof, under both subchapter I and subchapter III for [official travel](/usc/37/451.md?p=b-1) performed under a single or related travel and transportation order or authorization by the [administering Secretary](/usc/37/451.md?p=a-1).
