# §30901. Organization

- (a) **Federal Charter.—** Boy Scouts of America (in this chapter, the “[corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7)”) is a body corporate and politic of the District of Columbia.
- (b) **Domicile.—** The domicile of the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) is the District of Columbia.
- (c) **Perpetual Existence.—** Except as otherwise provided, the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) has perpetual existence.
