# §220513. Annual amateur athlete survey

- (a) **In General.—** Not less frequently than annually, the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) shall cause an independent third-party organization, under contract, to conduct an anonymous survey of [amateur athletes](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-1) who are actively engaged in [amateur athletic competition](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-2) with respect to—
  - (1) their satisfaction with the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) and the applicable [national governing body](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-9); and
  - (2) the behaviors, attitudes, and feelings within the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) and the applicable [national governing body](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-9) relating to sexual harassment and abuse.
- (b) **Consultation.—** A contract under [subsection (a)](#a) shall require the independent third-party organization to develop the survey in consultation with the [Center](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-5).
- (c) **Prohibition on Interference.—** If the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) or a [national governing body](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-9) makes any effort to undermine the independence of, introduce bias into, or otherwise influence a survey under [subsection (a)](#a), such activity shall be reported immediately to Congress.
- (d) **Public Availability.—** The [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) shall make the results of each such survey available to the public on an internet website of the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7).
