# §21306. Historical collections


The Regents of the Smithsonian Institution may allow the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) to deposit its collections, manuscripts, books, pamphlets, and other historical material in the Smithsonian Institution or the National Museum on conditions and under regulations the Regents prescribe.
