# §170107. Headquarters and principal place of business


The headquarters and principal place of business of the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) shall be in the District of Columbia. However, the activities of the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) are not confined to the District of Columbia but may be conducted throughout the States, territories, and possessions of the United States.
