# §153304. Trustees


The property and affairs of the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) shall be managed by at least 40 trustees. The trustees shall be elected annually at the time provided in the bylaws. At least one trustee shall be elected annually from a list of nominees to be made by each of the State societies and submitted to the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) at least 30 days before the annual meeting, in accordance with provisions adopted by the [corporation](/usc/36/220501.md?p=b-7) to regulate nominations.
