# §212. Disposition of rights in educational awards


No scholarship, fellowship, training grant, or other [funding agreement](/usc/35/201.md?p=b) made by a [Federal agency](/usc/35/201.md?p=a) primarily to an awardee for educational purposes will contain any provision giving the [Federal agency](/usc/35/201.md?p=a) any rights to [inventions](/usc/35/201.md?p=d) made by the awardee.
