# §12112. Report by Attorney General


Beginning on October 1, 1996, and each subsequent July 1 thereafter, the [Attorney General](/usc/34/10307.md?p=1) shall report to the Congress on the implementation of this part, including a report on the eligibility of the [States](/usc/34/11103.md?p=7) under sections [12103](/usc/34/12103.md) and [12104](/usc/34/12104.md) of this title, and the distribution and use of funds under this part.
