# §11202. Promulgation of rules


The Secretary of Health and Human [Services](/usc/34/12291.md?p=a-51) (hereinafter in this subchapter referred to as the “Secretary”) may issue such rules as the Secretary considers necessary or appropriate to carry out the purposes of this subchapter.
