# §702k–1. Authorization of appropriation


$272,000,000 is authorized to be appropriated for the carrying out of the modified adopted project, and all unexpended balances of appropriations heretofore made for the prosecution of said flood-control project are made available for the purposes of sections [642a](/usc/33/642a.md), [702a–1](/usc/33/702a–1.md), [702a–2](/usc/33/702a–2.md) to [702a–12](/usc/33/702a–12.md), [702g–1](/usc/33/702g–1.md), [702j–1](/usc/33/702j–1.md), [702j–2](/usc/33/702j–2.md), 702k–1, and [702k–2](/usc/33/702k–2.md) of this title.
