# §59aa. Nonnavigability of Wisconsin River


The portion of the Wisconsin River above the hydroelectric dam at Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, is hereby declared to be a nonnavigable waterway of the United States for purposes of [title 46](/usc/46.md), including but not limited to the provisions of such title relating to vessel inspection and vessel licensure, and the other maritime laws of the United States.
