# §3048. Continuation on active duty; deferral of retirement


The provisions of subchapter IV of [chapter 36](/usc/10/chstA/ptII/ch36.md) of title 10 relating to continuation on [active duty](/usc/33/3002.md?p=b-1) and deferral of retirement shall apply to commissioned [officers](/usc/33/3002.md?p=b-3) of the [Administration](/usc/33/3002.md?p=b-7).
