# §2334. Innovative technologies for watershed restoration


The [Secretary](/usc/33/426h–1.md?p=2) shall examine using, and, if appropriate, encourage the use of, innovative treatment technologies, including membrane technologies, for watershed and environmental restoration and protection projects involving water quality.
