# §2237. Information for national security


Any [non-Federal interest](/usc/33/2241.md?p=7) shall provide the [United States](/usc/33/2241.md?p=8) the information necessary for military readiness planning and [harbor](/usc/33/2241.md?p=4), [inland harbor](/usc/33/2241.md?p=5), and national security, including information necessary to obtain national security clearances for individuals employed in critical [harbor](/usc/33/2241.md?p=4) and [inland harbor](/usc/33/2241.md?p=5) positions.
