# §803. Mines subject to coverage


Each [coal or other mine](/usc/30/802.md?p=h-1), the products of which enter [commerce](/usc/30/802.md?p=b), or the operations or products of which affect [commerce](/usc/30/802.md?p=b), and each [operator](/usc/30/802.md?p=d) of such mine, and every [miner](/usc/30/802.md?p=g) in such mine shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter.
