# §1322. Fellowship recipients


Recipients of fellowships under this subchapter shall be—

- (a) [persons](/usc/30/1291.md?p=19) who have been accepted by an [institution of higher education](/usc/30/1291.md?p=32) for graduate study leading to an advanced degree or for a professional degree, and
- (b) [persons](/usc/30/1291.md?p=19) who plan a career in the field of energy resources, production, or utilization.
