# §219. Separability


If any provision of this chapter or the application of such provision to any [person](/usc/29/203.md?p=a) or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of this chapter and the application of such provision to other [persons](/usc/29/203.md?p=a) or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
