# §4105. Attorneys’ fees


In any action brought in a [domestic court](/usc/28/4101.md?p=2) to enforce a [foreign judgment](/usc/28/4101.md?p=4) for [defamation](/usc/28/4101.md?p=1), including any such action removed from [State](/usc/28/3002.md?p=14) [court](/usc/28/3002.md?p=2) to Federal [court](/usc/28/3002.md?p=2), the [domestic court](/usc/28/4101.md?p=2) shall, absent exceptional circumstances, allow the party opposing recognition or enforcement of the [judgment](/usc/28/3002.md?p=8) a reasonable attorney’s fee if such party prevails in the action on a ground specified in [section 4102(a)](/usc/28/4102.md?p=a), (b), or (c).
