# §3005. Application of chapter to judgments


This chapter shall not apply with respect to a [judgment](/usc/28/3002.md?p=8) on a [debt](/usc/28/3002.md?p=3) if such [judgment](/usc/28/3002.md?p=8) is entered more than 10 years before the effective date of this chapter.
