# §219a. Severability


If any provision of this subchapter or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/27/214.md?p=7) or circumstance is held invalid, the validity of the remainder of this subchapter and this chapter and of the application of such provision to other [persons](/usc/27/214.md?p=7) and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
