# §1934. “Indian” defined for certain purposes


For the purposes of sections [1932](/usc/25/1932.md) and [1933](/usc/25/1933.md) of this title, the term “[Indian](/usc/25/1903.md?p=3)” shall include persons defined in [section 1603(c)](/usc/25/1603.md)[^1] of this title.
