# §1914. Petition to court of competent jurisdiction to invalidate action upon showing of certain violations


Any [Indian child](/usc/25/1903.md?p=4) who is the subject of any action for foster care placement or termination of parental rights under State law, any [parent](/usc/25/1903.md?p=9) or [Indian custodian](/usc/25/1903.md?p=6) from whose custody such child was removed, and the [Indian child](/usc/25/1903.md?p=4)’s tribe may petition any court of competent jurisdiction to invalidate such action upon a showing that such action violated any provision of sections [1911](/usc/25/1911.md), [1912](/usc/25/1912.md), and [1913](/usc/25/1913.md) of this title.
