# §8173. Content of reports on United States declarations


The reports required under [section 8171 of this title](/usc/22/8171.md) and [section 8172 of this title](/usc/22/8172.md) shall present the reasons for each [site](/usc/22/8102.md?p=12), [location](/usc/22/8102.md?p=8), [facility](/usc/22/8102.md?p=5), and activity being declared or being removed from the declaration list and shall certify that—

- (1) each [site](/usc/22/8102.md?p=12), [location](/usc/22/8102.md?p=8), [facility](/usc/22/8102.md?p=5), and activity included in the list has been examined by each agency with national security equities with respect to such [site](/usc/22/8102.md?p=12), [location](/usc/22/8102.md?p=8), [facility](/usc/22/8102.md?p=5), or activity; and
- (2) appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that information of direct national security significance will not be compromised at any such [site](/usc/22/8102.md?p=12), [location](/usc/22/8102.md?p=8), [facility](/usc/22/8102.md?p=5), or activity in connection with an [IAEA](/usc/22/8102.md?p=6) inspection.
