# §7843. Facilitating submission of applications for admission as a refugee


The Secretary of State shall undertake to facilitate the submission of applications under [section 1157 of title 8](/usc/8/1157.md) by citizens of [North Korea](/usc/22/7803.md?p=4) seeking protection as refugees (as defined in [section 1101(a)(42) of title 8](/usc/8/1101.md?p=a-42)).
