# §704. Immunities of courts and witnesses


Members of any [service court](/usc/22/701.md?p=b) of a [friendly foreign force](/usc/22/701.md?p=a) lawfully exercising jurisdiction in the [United States](/usc/22/701.md?p=c) in relation to members of such force, and any witnesses appearing before such [service court](/usc/22/701.md?p=b), shall enjoy the same immunities and privileges as are enjoyed by members of a court martial of the [United States](/usc/22/701.md?p=c) and by witnesses appearing before such a court martial.
