# §6512. Transfer of functions to Secretary of State


There are transferred to the Secretary of State all [functions](/usc/22/6502.md?p=7) of the Director of the United States Arms Control and Disarmament [Agency](/usc/22/6502.md?p=3), and all [functions](/usc/22/6502.md?p=7) of the United States Arms Control and Disarmament [Agency](/usc/22/6502.md?p=3) and any [office](/usc/22/6502.md?p=9) or component of such [agency](/usc/22/6502.md?p=3), under any statute, reorganization plan, Executive order, or other provision of law, as of the day before the effective date of this subchapter.
