# §6043. Expulsion of criminals from Cuba


The President shall instruct all United States Government officials who engage in official contacts with the [Cuban Government](/usc/22/6023.md?p=5-A) to raise on a regular basis the [extradition](/usc/22/7432.md?p=5) of or rendering to the United States all [persons](/usc/22/6023.md?p=11) residing in Cuba who are sought by the United States Department of Justice for crimes committed in the United States.
