# §6024. Severability


If any provision of this chapter or the amendments made by this chapter or the application thereof to any [person](/usc/22/6023.md?p=11) or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of this chapter, the amendments made by this chapter, or the application thereof to other [persons](/usc/22/6023.md?p=11) not similarly situated or to other circumstances shall not be affected by such invalidation.
