# §3715b. Transfers from Fund for compensation benefits


The [Secretary](/usc/22/277d–43.md?p=5) of the Treasury shall, upon request of the [Secretary](/usc/22/277d–43.md?p=5) of Labor, transfer funds from the Fund to the Employees’ Compensation Fund to reimburse the Employees’ Compensation Fund for the total cost of workers’ compensation benefits and other payments described in [section 3715a(a) of this title](/usc/22/3715a.md?p=a) that are provided on or after October 1, 1988.
