# §277d–40. Authorization of appropriations


There is authorized to be appropriated to the Department of State for the use of the United States section of the International Boundary and Water [Commission](/usc/22/277d–43.md?p=2), United States and Mexico, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of the treaty and title I of this Act.
