# §2682. Liquidation and disposal of broadcasting facilities


Whenever the [Secretary](/usc/22/277d–43.md?p=5) finds that the operation of the facilities authorized by sections [2681](/usc/22/2681.md) to [2683](/usc/22/2683.md) of this title to be transferred is no longer necessary or desirable, he shall report such fact to Congress with his recommendations for the disposition of such facilities.
