# §9518. Agreements


The [Institute](/usc/20/9501.md?p=14) may carry out research projects of common interest with entities such as the National Science Foundation and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National [Institute](/usc/20/9501.md?p=14) of Child Health and Human [Development](/usc/20/9501.md?p=8) through agreements with such entities that are in accordance with [section 1231 of this title](/usc/20/1231.md).
