# §7942. Purpose


The purpose of this subpart is to provide [teachers](/usc/20/7943.md?p=6), principals, and other [school](/usc/20/7943.md?p=4) professionals the tools they need to undertake reasonable actions to maintain order, discipline, and an appropriate educational environment.
