# §7927. Sense of Congress on restoration of State sovereignty over public education


It is the Sense of Congress that [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) and local officials should be consulted and made aware of the requirements that accompany participation in activities authorized under this chapter prior to a [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) or [local educational agency](/usc/20/7713.md?p=9-A)’s request to participate in such activities.
