# §7902. Prohibition regarding State aid


A [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) shall not take into consideration payments under this chapter (other than under subchapter VII) in determining the eligibility of any [local educational agency](/usc/20/7713.md?p=9-A) in that [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) for [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) aid, or the amount of [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) aid, with respect to [free public education](/usc/20/7713.md?p=6) of children.
