# §7822. Single local educational agency States


A [State educational agency](/usc/20/7801.md?p=49) that also serves as a [local educational agency](/usc/20/7713.md?p=9-A) shall, in its applications or plans under this chapter, describe how the agency will eliminate duplication in conducting administrative functions.
