# §7245. Family engagement in Indian schools


The [Secretary](/usc/20/7801.md?p=46) of the Interior, in consultation with the [Secretary](/usc/20/7801.md?p=46) of Education, shall establish, or enter into contracts and cooperative agreements with, local tribes, tribal organizations, or [Indian](/usc/20/7491.md?p=3) nonprofit [parent](/usc/20/7801.md?p=38) organizations to establish and operate family engagement centers.
