# §6437. Three-year programs or projects


If a [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) agency operates a program or project under this subpart in which individual children or youth are likely to participate for more than 1 year, the [State educational agency](/usc/20/7801.md?p=49) may approve the [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) agency’s application for a subgrant under this subpart for a period of not more than 3 years.
