# §6395. Secretarial approval; peer review


The [Secretary](/usc/20/7801.md?p=46) shall approve each [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) application that meets the requirements of this part, and may review any such application with the assistance and advice of [State](/usc/20/7171.md?p=b-6) officials and other officials with relevant expertise.
