# §2009a. Investment of amounts appropriated and contributed to Harry S Truman Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund


Notwithstanding [section 2009(b) of this title](/usc/20/2009.md?p=b), on and after December 26, 2007, at the request of the [Board](/usc/20/2002.md?p=1) of Trustees of the Harry S Truman Scholarship [Foundation](/usc/20/2002.md?p=2), it shall be the duty of the [Secretary](/usc/20/2002.md?p=6) of the Treasury to invest in full the amounts appropriated and contributed to the Harry S Truman Memorial Scholarship Trust [Fund](/usc/20/2002.md?p=3), as provided in such section. All requests of the [Board](/usc/20/2002.md?p=1) of Trustees to the [Secretary](/usc/20/2002.md?p=6) provided for in this section shall be binding on the [Secretary](/usc/20/2002.md?p=6).
