# §1161i–3. State Task Force establishment

- (a) **State Task Force established—** The Governor of a [State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) receiving a grant under this part shall establish, or designate an existing entity to serve as, the [State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) Early Childhood Education Professional Development and Career Task Force (hereafter in this part referred to as the “[State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) Task Force”).
- (b) **Membership—** The [State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) Task Force shall include a representative of a [State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) agency, an [institution of higher education](/usc/20/1001.md?p=a) (including an associate or a baccalaureate degree granting [institution of higher education](/usc/20/1001.md?p=a)), an [early childhood education program](/usc/20/1003.md?p=8), a [nonprofit](/usc/20/1003.md?p=13) early childhood organization, a statewide early childhood workforce scholarship or supplemental initiative, the [State](/usc/20/1003.md?p=21-A) Head Start collaboration director, and any other entity or individual the Governor determines appropriate.
