# §1140p. Purpose


It is the purpose of this subpart to provide technical assistance and information on best and promising practices to students with [disabilities](/usc/20/1003.md?p=6), the families of students with [disabilities](/usc/20/1003.md?p=6), and entities awarded grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements under subpart 1, 2, or 3 to improve the postsecondary recruitment, transition, retention, and completion rates of students with [disabilities](/usc/20/1003.md?p=6).
