# §1132–5. Report


The [Secretary](/usc/20/1003.md?p=17) shall, in consultation and collaboration with the Secretary of State, the [Secretary](/usc/20/1003.md?p=17) of Defense, and the heads of other relevant Federal agencies, submit a report once every two years that identifies areas of national need in foreign language, area, and international studies as such studies relate to government, education, business, and [nonprofit](/usc/20/1003.md?p=13) needs, and a plan to address those needs. The report shall be provided to the [authorizing committees](/usc/20/1003.md?p=1) and made available to the public.
