# §1971. Contributions of meals and refreshments during emergency duty


At any time on or after November 12, 2001, the United States Capitol Police may accept contributions of meals and refreshments in support of activities of the United States Capitol Police during a period of emergency (as determined by the Capitol Police [Board](/usc/2/179u.md?p=2)).
