# §172. Definitions


As used in sections [171](/usc/2/171.md) to [175](/usc/2/175.md) of this title—

- (1) the term Center means the Center for the Book;
- (2) the term [Librarian](/usc/2/179u.md?p=1) means the [Librarian](/usc/2/179u.md?p=1) of Congress.
