# §58a. Fees for services of customs officers


The [Secretary](/usc/19/1681.md?p=1) may charge such fees as may be necessary to cover the costs of providing [services](/usc/19/2576b.md?p=4) similar to or the same as [services](/usc/19/2576b.md?p=4) furnished by customs officers under the sections repealed by subsection (a).
